After the successful mission through the Kinrath Caves of Dantooine, an old grunting Corellian Politician brought his wrinkled and aged hands arcing and racing across the controls of his Frigate as the slim red vessel shot through the stratosphere of the plain world, its destination already computed in: the Jedi Enclave of Jedi Grand Master Solis Fay'den.
'I wonder if Skywalker's successor is truly worth the title...' Jarode wondered precariously as his eyebrows furrowed into the memories of the younger Fay'den, a young Padawan that was still in the midst of being an Apprentice when the war seemingly began. Isus Jarode had never even met the young boy or his acknowledged companion Marth Harlot, and he had left the Jedi Order completely before either could play their own roles in the Jedi Order as Jedi Knights.
'To think he has my Lightsaber... no, what's worse is that I'm actually intending to regain my Lightsaber; that's what's more frightening.'
The cave had been in the midst of twilight by the time Jarode and his Apprentice Talmic Jarac left the region. It only took a few minutes for the Corellian frigate to surpass the Terminator Line, and only a few minutes still to come within sight and landing detection of the Enclave.
"Corellian Frigate Ragnorak, this is the Dantooine Space Port. Please state your business." the somewhat ruffled but young voice of a Dantooine farmer boy came through somewhat sporadically, and Isus sighed impatiently as he attempted to reply as simply as possible, "Resupplying, and business with the Jedi Order...."
"Jedi Order? Um... you'll need clearance for that..." the boy seemed somewhat caught off, it seemed that specific Jedi transponder codes were listed, and it was obvious that Isus did not match with the listed data. "Sir, you'll need to request an audience with a Jedi representative before any immediate business."
Isus snarled in a bit of impatience and responded, slowly and quietly, yet a bit of frustration filling his old throat, "Take a look at the codes of Master Skywalker kid, I know you have them. Jedi Knight Isus Jarode."
Several moments spread across as Isus continues his approach, already establishing landing procedures without approval; at last, the boy replies with haste and embarrassment, "I'm... sorry Mr. Jarode, I didn't realize you were a Jedi..."
"Former Jedi." Isus reacts without an instant's loss.
"A... former Jedi... well sir, I've contacted the necessary procedures in the Space Port, and you're granted landing at port four. Is there any specific being in the Order I should contact?"
Isus smirked somewhat, a bit of ego taking his thoughts for a moment, "Contact the Grand Master; let him know I'm here for a tool he's holding onto for me."
"...Uh... right sir, I'll... do that..."
Without another word or transmission, the docking authority logged off, and Isus released a heavy laugh of contempt, "My word, it's amazing how fearful people are of former Jedi these days."
After about a half hour of landing and powering down the engines and systems, Isus strolls out towards the exit, grabbing Talmic Jarac and dragging him along as well. When both men were outside the ship and Isus was sure Talmic was completely packed and ready to go, Jarode locks the ship down and turns to his Apprentice with a nod, "I'm off to have some business with your Grand Master to discuss our... establishment. You find yourself a workbench and get to work on perfecting those new Lightsabers. We'll be heading off for Tattooine just after this, so avoid having any friends tag along... unless you decide to have me check them out. Either way... get out of my sight, I'll meet you at 1700 hours tomorrow.
Turning on his heel and waving a short salute to his Apprentice, Jarode jumps onto his personal speeder bike with personal blaster at hand and Corellian vest covering a simple tunic, and with a simple press of his feet, the vehicle was zooming off towards the nearby Enclave.
Strolling down the stone walls with a bit of discomfort, the thought of being within sight of actual Jedi a bit discomforting, the very fact that he had broken his promise to himself even more unnerving.
'Damnit, I hate being old...'
The fact that Isus Jarode seemed to look like a normal Non-Jedi was one thing; the fact that every single Jedi in the Enclave, Padawan or Knight, was looking at him as if he were of the Dark Side, was something else entirely. The old man had completely forgotten to suppress his presence with the Force.
'Damnit all!'
Finally ignoring all the stares and shy questions, Isus storms off towards the centerpiece of the Enclave: the residents of the Grand Master, Solis Fay'den. The feeling of the Force around him was suffocating enough... but when he reached the... the aura of Fay'den's chambers, it was as if... as if Isus was coming into contact with Master Skywalker once more.
Finding himself gasping for breath at the large entrance of Fay'den's chambers, Isus Jarode knew that the Grand Master sensed him, most likely since his arrival to the world of Dantooine. His power was tremendous... his ability to spread his influence through the Force unforgiving... the darkness inside of Isus, it squirmed to be released and untensed...
At last, Isus forced himself to relax, and took a step forward, strolling through Fay'den's chambers with a rapid and uneasy step, expecting Jedi arrogance to gun him down.
"You know what I'm here for..."
