Important Details
Name: Vladamir Taltos (Pronounced Taltosh) the III
Age: 567 Years
Gender: Male
Race: Vampire
Weight: 156 Pounds
Height: 5 Foot 9 Inches
Appearance
Eyes: Deep Emerald Green with Gold flakes giving his eyes and ethereal glow in moonlight
Hair: Deep brown almost black. Worn in an unkempt style and most often kept out of his eyes but still ragged looking. Also has a rough beard, most often kept to just a stumble.
Skin: Dark tan. He may be a vampire but Vladamir has kept his natural born skin color.
Tattoos: Left arm has a band running around it at his mid bicep. The band is about and inch thick and is simply a tribal marking. His back also contains a tattoo of his swords crossed with the words "Live Fast Don't Die" Written under them.
Build: Medium/Light build. It is evident that in a fight Vladamir could just as easily cleave an opponent as he could out maneuver him.
Clothing: Normally Vladamir will wear a thick leather and stud chest armor with his swords strapped across the back. His most common wear under his is a plain black tank top that is completely hidden under the armor. His pants are normally baggy and only kept up by his sword belt, although often times he can be seen wearing an ornamental belt as well. His shoes include plain leather boots with a place in each heel for a dagger. His arms remain bare except for leather strips which wrap all the way up to his elbow and then stop. His hands are protected by a single large half-orb, usually green, that slips on and is wrapped. It provides as an excellent back hand shield and also provides an extra grip to his swords. Around his waist he also wears a red sash that is tied around twice and then left loose to drape over his left leg, usually it is under the belt but he has been known to wear it over.
Personality: Usually Vladamir is a quiet and uncaring person, but certain issues can get him talking quite a bit, such as reasons why humans deserve to be farmed not let run free. His morals state that he should always be a gentlemen around female vampires, and hold a certain amount of respect for any vampire, half blood or not. He may seem rough on the outside but in all honesty he is warm inside, at least to wards his own kind, and those who get to know him generally like him.
On duty he is very dutiful and uncompromising, preferring discipline and procedure over free roam and chit chat. He always makes sure his orders are followed and he always follows orders given to him. Being the head of the Palace Guard means he often times gets asked where something is or where someone is, and while on duty he is always willing to help in whatever capacity he can.
Strengths
Physical: Speed and Dexterity are definitely the tops of Vladamir's Physical game. He's an acrobat when it comes to moving abut and striking at an enemy from odd angles and such. With a well toned body he can easily twist and turn to avoid a blow or he can even out right use his superior speed, which is amplified even more since Vladamir concentrates on it for his power. With these key focus points he can easily dodge, duck, and hop most attacks sent his way, making him very deadly in close quarters fights.
Mental: Apart from his ability as a Vampire to resist most threats and empty promises Vladamir keeps a very cool and collected mental fight. While it may not seem like much Vladamir does have an impressive mental combat strategy that involves making his opponent angry or frustrated, so they will focus less on actual tactics and more on trying to hack Vladamir apart. This can come in handy against larger foes who tend to be more power heavy attackers, and thus slip into a rage easily.
Weaknesses
Physical: Strength and power are not something Vladamir has a lot of. While it is true that his vampire's strength would make most humans look weak, his strength against other vampires may seem feeble. Since he lacks great strength he doesn't have that much force behind attacks or blocks, and as such has a hard time when fighting toe to toe with no real way to get around his opponent to use his acrobatics. These key weaknesses make him an easy target if caught in a narrow passage or alleyway.
Mental: With his great mental warfare comes a weakness, his lack of emotion. He doesn't show emotion many times and that means he cannot utilize a situation to it's full advantage. Say as enemy were to fall in combat, this does not bolster Vladamir to do better, it just means he has one less enemy to deal with. As such people around him seem to have a lower moral and fighting spirit. Thus in large groups Vladamir is not that great to have around.
Extras
Hobbies: Checks up on 'personal' ventures and most commonly reads. His personal ventures include feeding, research into different sorts of vampire rituals, checking around the palace for guard placement, all the things that come with being a leader of the guard, and so on and so forth. Reading on the other hand Vladamir loves to do, and will often spend ours sitting in a library reading anything and everything. He will admit that the humans do have some good writers, but they would be so much better if turned to vampires.
Likes: Most Vampires, reading, keeping busy, making time for himself, feeding
Dislikes: Any half blood or human, excessive noise, daytime, sleeping
Occupation: Captain of the Palace Guard
Born: Middle East, Babylon
Raised: Eastern Europe and West Asia (Persia)
