Zedd sat in his quarters letting his thoughts slowly melt and letting complete calmness wash over him. Zedd extended his mind out towards everything, Zedd felt everything around him, and Zedd then felt a presence he hadn't felt in a long time. 'Master....' Zedds eyes opened quickly looking about a bit confused with what he felt. Zedd slowly rose from his cushioned stool and walked over to his desk and light to candles. "I am sorry master, I have failed you...I lost the knowledge and power you gave to me before you died, and I wasted it on rage and anger against my own force brother. I am sorry." Zedd gave a small bow of his head. Zedd slowly rose "I will not fail you again master I will find a new master that is willing to teach me as much as you did, I will make you prod of me master." Zedd softly spoke to the watching spirit. Zedd pulled out one instant sticks lighting it with the candles flame then blowing it out to let the incenses smell fill the room. Zedd sat back onto his stool and went into deep thought.
A Few hours later Zedds eyes shot open. "I know who my new master could be; I just hope he is willing to train me after what I have done.....Thank you master." Zedd slowly rose and left his room. Zedd walked down the long corridors towards the grand Masters room. Zedd lightly knocked on the door before stepping in. Zedd walked into the large but simple room and gave a bow "Master I have a question of you". Zedd asked keeping his head bowed.

"Raise your head, Zeddicus, so I can see your face."
Solis spoke plainly, in his usual calm and amiable fashion. Though this was technically a command uttered from his lips, it did not carry with it an authoritative tone. After all, Solis was not a military leader so much as a spiritual leader, and a teacher. As Zedd did as he was asked, revealing his face to the Grand Master, Solis frowned somewhat. There was something about Zedd's ocular implant that never set well with him. While he understood the necessity of it, and the necessity of the advancements of technology in general, Solis kept a more natural view on life, shying away from any types of technology he did not find a need for. What truly didn't sit well with Solis, though, about Zedd's bionic replacements where that they were strikingly reminiscent of another, many many years ago, who became the scourge of the Jedi: Anakin Skywalker, also known as Darth Vader.
Passing off the thought, Solis spoke to the knight-turned-padawan before him.
"Zeddicus, my friend, you have been meditating for a long time, I noticed. I trust some insight has come to you, and brought to me this evening. What is it you wish of me?"
Solis looked upon Zedd curiously; while he did have more than the average Jedi's proficiency with the Force, much, much more, his personal code, along with the Code of the Jedi, denied him from merely gleaning the insight straight from his charge's mind. Instead, Solis waited patiently for Zedd's answer.

Zedd slowly rose to his full hight letting Solis take a full look at his face. Zedd noticed the slight frown on Solis face. Zedd knew that Solis didn't like that fact of his implants he didn't even need the force to sense this, Solis' body language said it all. "Well, Solis one day, maybe i will find a way to regrow what I've lost but until then i will have to live with these.... substitutes." Zedd answered Solis unasked question. Zedd moved his robotic arm letting it go into a fist. "It's somewhat strange i admit, the feeling you get from this arm, it's cold and unemotional, though it may sense change better than anything organic it still does not have the unique touch you would have with a human arm." Zedd explained to Solis. " Same with this eye, it can see more detail that you can, it can even see cloaked sith. It's is a handy tool, but if i had a choice i would rather have a human eye, but again i did not have that choice." Zedd explained.
Zedd the shook his head slightly " anyway to the point at hand, i was meditating today, a thought reached my mind about my new master since you allowed me to to pick, well the master i would like to be under is you grand Master Solis, thats if you allow me to be." Zedd asked in his calm voice. Zedd stood there waiting to hear Solis' answer. 'hmmm, maybe i could have been more tactful on the way i asked such a question, well it's too late now.' Zedd thought as he waited.

Solis smiled as Zedd answered his thoughts on the bionic parts of his body. As he did so, Solis remembered what it was Solis had always liked about this particular pupil: His understanding and sense of perception, even without use of the Force, were very great. It was something Solis himself was more than adept with, and could easily understand how Zedd had figured it out.
"My student, do not concern yourself with your machine-assisted body, or my thoughts of it. It is something I accept as a necessity as well as a reality. Whether that eye of yours can compare to the sense of the Force that I possess or not, however, is a completely different matter altogether, perhaps to be discussed at a later date." Solis smiled a friendly smile, winking at Zedd.
Zedd was not a bad man, he had found himself on the wrong side of Jedi laws at one point, however, and had been punished accordingly, in the best way Solis could. Being a benevolent man, however, Solis had accepted him back into the Order with open arms, returning to him the Force connection he had convened with the other masters to strip from him upon his earlier transgressions. And now, this man came to his own prosecutor, seeking tutelage. Solis smiled at the thought, musing silently on how the Force seemed to work in very mysterious ways.
"Zeddicus," Solis began, regarding the man before him, who had openly and plainly asked for teaching and training under him, "this is an interesting choice you have made. To ask the one who turned you away in the first place to train shows great humility, and that, I admire. I accept your request, Zeddicus, to take you personally under my tutelage, on top of the general training and teaching I give to the students of the Academy. I sincerely hope that I can help you find guidance, and ultimately, the way back to the Force."
Solis nodded to Zedd, as if his entire speech of acceptance was not enough to convey his meaning. Finally, waving his palm up as if to ask Zedd to speak, Solis asked a question of his own.
"Is there anything else, perhaps, that brings you about to the Grand Hall this evening?"

Zedd gave a smile. 'Well in force wise I’ll most defiantly loose out to you.' Zedd though to himself, though. "Yes that would be for the best, as I know how good you are with the force, I could feel it when you stripped me, and it was truly a rare experience indeed." Zedd replied.
"Zeddicus." Solis spoke, 'he's made his decision then well I will accept it either way, as I have failed him once maybe-' Zedd's thoughts got cut of when Solis spoke his answer. "I accept your Request, Zeddicus." Zedd was shocked slightly at Solis answer, though he was hoping that would be the answer it still gave him a shock to hear it. Zedd gave a small bow to Solis “I thank you Master, I will not let you down." Zedd spoke. "Oh and I myself thought it was the natural course of things, since you were one of the people I let down, I felt that I needed to prove that I am worthy enough to still be a Jedi." Zedd Told Solis.
Solis then asked a question of his own. Zedd Gave a small nod "its Strange today I was meditating and I felt the presence of my old master, I guess even in death he watches me." Zedd said more of a comment than anything else. "Oh and just one more when do we start are training together." Zedd asked.
