Rules & Regulations
The staff reserve the right to warn, suspend and/or ban anyone who they believe has breached any of the following rules and regulations. These have been set in place to make sure that everyone has a good time, and that as few issues as possible arise.
If you feel that you were not in breach of the rule you are accused of breaking, or that your punishment was too severe, you may appeal to the head admin, who will then take the case into consideration. Once a judgement has been made on the infraction, that judgement stands.
RULE #4 will not come into effect immediately. You will be notifyed when we have enough players, and it will be enforced then.
Rule #1
This is a game. And as a game, it is meant to be fun for everyone. Do not ruin that for everyone by giving them a hard time because they beat you, or because they have a different opinion from you. Leave the angst at the door, as we don't want it here.
Rule #2
Be fair. If your character gets into a fight, don't try and act like you are god and that you are unbeatable. Try to win for sure, but take the characters into consideration. Just because you think you’re the best shot in the universe, doesn't mean you will definitely hit the Jedi. Be creative. Fight strong and hard, but be fair. If someone gets the drop on you, don't whine, deal with it.
Rule #3
Try to avoid killing other players. They spend alot of time creating their character, so it's unfair to simply take that character away from them. Unfortunately, in the universe of Star Wars, death is inevitable for some. Therefore, it is HIGHLY recommended that you ask permission before killing someone else’s character. One way around this, is to decide beforehand between yourselves if this will be a battle to the death.
Rule #4
The timeline needs to stay smooth. You may have your character in multiple threads, but not multiple planets (With the exception of long distance communication). To keep things in some sort of order, your character must state when they intend to leave a planet (Say, at the end of their final thread on that planet), or at the very least, that they have just arrived from off-world (when they arrive at their destination).
Rule #5
No spamming, polluting, trolling or unnecessary flaming. These acts do nothing but clutter the board and make things just plain unpleasant. Swearing is not to be used in excess, but may be used in moderation. Sexual, and other such adult content, is to be clearly marked on the thread title as a warning to anyone who may be offended by such material. Drug referencing will not be tolerated in OOC sections unless the topic is of high taste (such as intelligent discussions). Promoting of drugs is strictly forbidden. They may be referenced to within the game, but as with swearing, keep it in moderation.
Rule #6
If you wish to have more than one character, you must first put a request in with one of the admin or moderators. Do not request the ability to control more than one character unless you are sure you can handle it. If you neglect one of your characters after creating a second, you will be warned. If you fail to keep up to standard, that character will be promptly deleted, and you will have to prove yourself capable of maintaining a second character before you will again be allowed one.
Rule #7
You must wait until your Bio has been approved and locked before you begin Role Playing. Any in game posts you make before then will be subject to deletion, and you will receive a mark against your name. You are however, free to post in the OOC sections at any time, as long as you obey rule #5.
Rule #8
This is really more of an addendum than a rule, however, please, I implore you, if you are going to make a Force-using character (Jedi or Sith), refer immediately to the Force Progression rules on this board as well. Know and understand them fully before you begin your bio, and if you have any trouble, PM one of the admins for help.
