'I'll give the kid one thing...' Isus thought as he led the pair through the streets of skyscraper and repulsorlifts, 'He catches on quickly. He has much to learn, but I suspect he'll absorb it all famously.'
You have much potential my Padawan, but you have no need to call me Master, at least not in the sense of servitude or superiority. You are nearly a Knight, and if you so desired, could turn away from me and become one. But you are wise, and seek to learn. I am your Master as a Professor is to his students; I am here to teach you, and mold you into the Jedi you deserve to be. But be wary Talmic; I turned away from the Order for a reason, and you must be prepared to resist my bias if you truly wish to continue on as a member of your Order.
Marching offwards from an elevator, Isus turns into the waiting lines of the restaurant of choice: a Twi'lek Bar & Grill known as The Drifting Twilight.
Oh, and another thing. If you're ever given a mission to Ryloth, deny it. That planet can be as cold as Hoth, yet as hot as Sullust.
Waiting for about five minutes on the Twi'lek female was rational enough, yet some of Isus' habits as an old man were wearing down his patience.
Either way, the two Jedi were led into a more secluded sector of the rather large antechamber. Isus could tell why; the Twi'lek's lekku were twitching rather rapidly, showing her nervousness.
'Great, the boy's robes are like a flare in the darkness...''
It was completely obvious too; the nervous and cold stares coming from many patrons of the bar was an obvious sign of trouble. Many would most likely assume, from Isus' outfit, that the proceedings between the two would lead on as a Lobbyist attempting to gain influence with an inexperienced Jedi Knight regarding Republic Politics.
'Well, I suppose this can be a good thing...'
Taking a seat on one side of the booth, Isus nodded Talmic to another, and took off his jacket as the Twi'lek laid out the menus.
''Any drinks for you... gentlemen?'' the nervous waitress commented rather hesitantly.
"Why yes, I'll have some good ol' Corellian Ale, and I'm sure my companion would prefer something from Dantooine, correct?" Isus commented rather bluntly, acting as a true Lobbyist would: calm, relaxed, smiling and completely artificial.
You're going to need to inform me where those Lightsabers are from. Your form - and your connection to them - are completely unnatural. I suspect we'll need to forge you a new pair, if my assumption is correct.

Talmic nodded slowly as Isus spoke in his mind. OK he could get used to not calling someone master. If he was going to become a Knight he would have to learn not to call everyone by that title. It was going to be an interesting time, this time with his new... tutor. Yes Isus was a tutor, someone who would aid him in his quest to become a true Jedi Knight and one that would one day make his way to the council, hopefully.
Although his mind felt more at ease now, he still felt like something was off. He had just cut his ties to his old master in an instant, yet here he was holding the same man's sabers. It felt odd, very odd, to be holding something not rightfully his. Maybe that's what was nagging at him now. Was it the fact he felt he had no right to these blades? Like they were somehow tainted because he was holding them.
Shaking his head as they entered the diner Talmic realized wearing his robes was a terrible mistake on his part. For all the looks he got half were ones that screamed 'GET OUT!' or others that saw him as filthy. Surely they didn't think Isus was paying off a Jedi? Well the mob did think for it's self, and it was his duty to protect that very fact.
Taking his seat across form the old man he was now calling teacher Talmic perked up when drinks came about. He was a guardian, a lot of times he had to accept drinks from.. clients to keep relations with the order good. He already had a favorite drink to, amazingly that is.
"Correlian Vodka, on ice please."
Talmic said with a smile, and the simple fact that he had just ordered something like that would probably shock Isus. Talmic merely gave his new teacher a smile and then addressed the issue of his sabers.
My blades. They are my old masters, so yes I believe I will need new blades. I guess it's as good a time as any to forge new blades, seeing as I plan to take the trials soon. Both blades are his however so I will need both replaced. I don't feel right wielding a weapon that is not mine, or rightly given to me.
With that Talmic leaned back into his booth, waiting for a reply from his new found tutor.

"You sure you're not a Corellian?" Isus retorted with a smug grin, "You'd best be, because I can't imagine how a farmboy on some isolated world gets his hands on the Galaxy's fine booze."
Isus Jarode releases a small laugh, and notes the waitress' slight relief, nodding to her in thanks as she heads off to collect their beverages. Isus looks back to Talmic with his sapphire eye while his red eye searches the restaurant; a usual habit of a man that attempts to rely less on the Force.
So your Master believes you've needed his old tools for that long? I'm impressed by how well you've adapted to them, yet if the two of you had a stronger relationship of Master to Padawan, perhaps a new pair would not be necessary.
The dinner would be a brief one, as Isus knew. The Tutor and Padawan merely sat across from each other, speaking of jokes and rumors through their lips, and pure business through the Force. There wasn't too much of a surprise between the two of them; Isus learned a small summary of Talmic's life as a Jedi Padawan, and Talmic learned of Isus' life after the War. Jarode did not feel comfortable revealing his career as a Jedi Knight just yet; the pain of the past was still too much to handle.
"So I turned to look at Bendick to see the Zabrak's Vynskr had completely smothered him in slobber... or whatever that slime was that came from its mouth. It was great seeing someone so fearful of predatory felines suddenly covered in their normally friendly gestures - yet the stuff was a numbing poison! He was paralyzed for the next several hours because of the creature's natural instincts!"
So that's what the new Academy looks like, eh? I always wondered.... well! It seems our bill is on it's way. Pick up your things Talmic, we need to head out and plan our first lesson.
Taking the bill and placing its worth on his own account, Isus pockets the receipt and stands up, shaking Talmic's hand as if the entire thing had been a business meeting.
"It was a pleasure speaking with you Knight Jarac."
See you at the Prowler in ten minutes; keep separate, we need to keep this political cover going.
Walking through the doors alone and finding a separate path back, Isus arrived at the Prowler just a bit after Talmic.
'How did he beat me to my own ship? Geez, it seems age really is catching up on me...'
Standing before Talmic at last, Isus decided that the use of the Force for words had grown annoying, and instead addressed Talmic like a true Human should.
"Well, it seems you'll be needing new Lightsabers; we'll make that our first priority. Here, I'll give you a lift to your quarters; where are they exactly?"

Talmic thought hard about how deep his and his masters connection truly was. It wasn't like it wasn't special or anything, hell he had saved the man's life the first time he went on a mission. The fact was that his master seemed to be growing farther and farther from Talmic of late. Making emergency runs to the outer rim and such places as that. What worried Talmic most was that his master had also been slightly on edge.
Maybe it was the chance to actually sit down and talk for once, maybe it was the drinks but for once a non obligated drink, or maybe it was the atmosphere, but for once in a long time Talmic was a bit relaxed and very comfortable. The eyes had stopped peering their way now and they were able to relax and talk like regular people, well as normal as a Jedi and a Politician could.
They talked about this and that, Talmic spoke, mentally of course, of his first mission, in which he had beheaded the ex-Jedi Yuri Valkususki. He then spoke of how he had gone onto become a Guardian class Jedi and listed off a few of the planets he had been to. Nothing special just this and that. By word they were joking and whispering rumors, general stuff.
Finally it came time to leave and Talmic got the idea clearly, he would just slip out and then make his way in a round about way. It would make it seem the young Jedi was merely going about his duty of protection of the mob by wandering. He would in fact wander to the fighter and await his mentors arrival.
"Nice to see you care about your own sip."
Talmic said as Isus came into view and was soon rewarded with the words of his new mentor. A new pair of lightsabers, perfect, they were exactly what the young Jedi needed now. He had refused to touch the blades since he became Isus' student, choosing instead to now rely on his force powers. He was probably a fool to do so, but until his blades became his own he would not touch them.
"Trade Quarters, a small hotel by the name Red Moons. I believe finding the parts for new sabers will be rather easy. The weapons and armor we took earlier should contain the necessary components, except of course a housing case and a crystal. Speaking of which, where will we find said crystals?"

'The Red Moon eh? I remember having a pretty good Mynock steak there once...'
Isus walked around Talmic to head straight to the Prowler, activating the ladder and climbing in as he spoke to his new Apprentice. "Once I drop you off at the Hotel, I'll leave it up to you to collect the necessary pieces from the loot. You'll need to find the Housing Case on your own, but I suppose all you need to do is buy it from some common ship warehouse. The crystal however..." Isus pulls himself up and over the cockpit wall, sits himself in the seat, and waits for Talmic to lock himself into the passenger compartment before continuing, "We'll need to make a trip to Dantooine."
A few minutes later the graceful starfighter was off the platform and into the skies, rocketing past skyscraper and into the far off Trade District without a good twenty minutes.
Landing at a pad about five minutes' walk from the Red Moon, Isus kicks slowly pulls himself from the cockpit, groaning and complaining of 'My damn back'. Talmic easily beats him onto the platform, and when Isus finally reaches the level ground, nods to the luggage compartment.
"Grab what you need from what we collected off those thugs. I'll grab you a case suitable enough to carry all of it comfortably. Hold onto at least one set of armor and the Repeater Rifle if at all possible; you'll need it on Dantooine."
Letting Talmic to collect his necessities, Isus reaches into a second compartment to find a rather large metallic casing, difficult for a common being to carry about, yet simple for a Jedi - especially a Guardian.
Throwing the casing to Talmic's feet, Isus nods to him, a laughing smirk on his face. "I'll meet you on Dantooine in one month's time. Don't ask me where exactly; that'll be the first test: for you to discover me planetside. Make sure you return those Lightsabers to your Master before you come with me; I will not accept them when you're with me on this hunt for crystals. And again, do not forget that set of armor and rifle. You'll need it."
Smiling to Talmic one last time, Isus makes his way (slowly) up the Prowler, and makes one final gesture of goodbye.
"Have a good night Talmic, and I'll hope to see you on Dantooine!"
Lifting into the sky a few moments later, Isus Jarode flies off into the cityscape, leaving his newest Apprentice to ponder on the day's findings.

Nodding to Isus' current set of instructions, Talmic wondered how exactly he was going to get those housings. Stealing them was of course out of the question. Simply requesting two might not work, but it was worth a shot. Of course if he merely wen tot the industrial district he could probably find two suitable housings just laying around. Yes, he would go to the industrial district once he was packed. From there he could hop a transport back to the academy on Dantoonie within a day.
"The crystal cave I take it."
Talmic never got an answer as the Prowler started up and took off into the sky, weaving in and out of traffic. Talmic once more tried to reach out but to no avail, there just wasn't the life up here that their was down below, not like the way it was at least. Up here he could sense individual flares in the force, people who could use the force if they wanted, but no one particularly bright, and no mass effect like below.
Soon they arrived on the launch pad and Talmic had already scrambled out of the cockpit and onto the deck as Isus worked his way down. Soon he was told to gather up the gear and he did so without complaint, taking the time to make sure all was in place. Talmic noticed that the bracers on the armor set were a special cortosis woven style, perfect for holding a lightsaber at bay should the user chose to take advantage of it. Talmic figured the previous owner had been to dim witted to notice and as such had never even thought off it as a defense mechanism. Oh well, Talmic's gain. Strapping the forearm guards on Talmic was relieved to see Isus had found him a storage container, a brief case almost.
"Thank you teacher."
Soon Isus bid Talmic farewell and Talmic gave a farewell bow and a goodbye. With hat Isus took off again and Talmic was left to gather his things and get back to the Red Moon. He did so in short order and six minutes later Talmic walked back threw the entrance of the inn to gather the last of his things. The Order on Coruscant covered the room and that night Talmic was going to be back on Dantoonie, beginning the physical task of repairing and making two lightsaber hilts.
